The Strictly judge accepted the award for entertainment programme during the Bafta TV Awards on Friday evening but revealed she’s been ill.
Not only has she been suffering from high temperatures and a cough, she also broke a foot.
‘I broke my foot so that’s healing,’ she said. ‘I haven’t been so well these last few days. I had a temperature and a this and a that.
‘I was coughing. I just took the Covid test today so we’ll have to wait 24 hours.

‘I’m at home alone, with my little dog Charlie. He’ll be my companion for the next few days.’

Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing is currently planning two same-sex couples for the upcoming series – with both male and female pairings being represented, new reports claim.
The series, which is yet to have any same-sex couple-ups in its 16-year history, is said to be breaking new ground with its show to increase its representation.

‘Everyone assumed producers would simply pair gay pro Johannes Radebe with a male celebrity but they felt that was too obvious,’ a source told The Sun. 
‘Then there was a suggestion they would opt to put two women together. But nobody expected having pairings of both genders.’
