Jake Paul wants to ‘live life’ as he addresses party amid coronavirus

Jake Paul insists he’s going ‘to live his life’ as he addresses partying amid coronavirus pandemicJake Paul has insisted he’s still going to live his life and party amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The YouTube star, 23, came under fire for throwing a party at his Californian mansion, earlier this month, with even the Mayor of Calabasas criticising Jake after footage of the bash surfaced online.
His Team 10 house was filled with young people, with videos showing groups playing beer pong, hanging from forklifts and not sticking to the six foot social distancing rule enforced in the region.
Addressing the party, Mayor Alicia Weintraub said she was ‘outraged’ by the videos and was now working towards a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to house parties violating health orders.
Jake, however, has insisted ‘everything is cool’ and revealed to Insider that he had spoken to the Mayor.
Insisting he was still going ‘to live his life’ despite the pandemic, Jake told the publication: ‘I don’t know what to think of it, to be honest. I don’t think anyone really does.

Jake said: ‘I personally am not the type of person who’s gonna sit around and not live my life.’
His comments came as Mayor Weintraub told the publication she had spoken to Jake’s rep following the party and warned that financial penalties were being put in place for those breaking the rules with house parties.
Weintraub had told Fox News of Jake’s party: ‘They’re having this large party, no social distancing, no masks, it’s just a big huge disregard for everything that everybody is trying to do to get things back to functioning.
‘It’s really just a party acting like Covid does not existing, it’s acting that businesses aren’t closed.’
The Mayor added: ‘No gatherings will be tolerated like this. Something like this will not happy again.’
