Landry had offseason hip surgery, and is still rehabbing as he targets a return in the near future.Landry had a monster year in 2019, grabbing 83 receptions for a career-high 1,174 yards and six touchdowns. He was named to his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl team in the process.Amazingly, Landry said over Pro Bowl weekend he played with the hip malady for the entirety of the 2019 campaign (via Nick Shook of NFL.com):Landry told NFL.com Wednesday he played the entire 2019 season with a hip injury, adding he feels he could have “easily” reached 1,500 if healthy. He still neared 1,200 while hurt, though, and hopes all of that is behind him now, adding he’s “out of the deep water” in his recovery process and is focused on rehabbing and strengthening his hip in preparation for the 2020 season.“I’m good. I’m good,” Landry said. “Just in this recovery process, this rehab process to make sure I can get back to my 100 percent self.”Considering Landry was Cleveland’s most productive pass-catcher last season, the Browns will be sure to ease him back to full strength as they hope to be more competitive in 2020.The Browns made wholesale changes in the offseason. They hired a new general manager (Andrew Berry) and head coach (Kevin Stefanski) while also making upgrades to the offense. Cleveland signed Pro Bowl tight end Austin Hooper to join the receiving corps, and also inked a deal with former All-Pro right tackle Jack Conklin. However, Landry figures to be among the most important players on the roster as the Browns look for their weapons to make themselves available for quarterback Baker Mayfield.Landry will continue rehabbing in advance of Week 1. !function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s){if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?
